NC Association of REALTORS®
The North Carolina Association of REALTORS® (NCAR) is a non-profit trade association founded in 1921 and incorporated on Sept. 14, 1935. From an initial membership of 135, today we have a membership of more than 42,000 real estate professionals representing 66 local associations statewide. The NC Association of REALTORS® is the largest and oldest state association in North Carolina.
The NC Association of REALTORS® is dedicated to providing the opportunities and resources that members need to be successful. Our mission includes promoting housing affordability; preserving and promoting the right to own, transfer and use real property; maintaining a leadership role in the legislative, political and regulatory process; promoting and maintaining the highest ethical standards; and developing and providing the best education, products and services for members.
The NC Homeowners Alliance
The NC Homeowners Alliance was formed as a 527 (named after the tax code that defines it) to develop positive information campaigns to educate residents on issues of local importance.
